When it comes to closing sales, it’s all about the follow-up. On average, only 2% of sales are made during the first point of contact. That means if you don’t follow up, even with a simple follow-up email, you’re missing out on potentially 98% of your sales.
And very often you need to follow up really well before you can get the sale. In doing this you need to apply wisdom to know when to give short/shorter breaks before going back to the prospect; But whatever you do, NEVER give up on a prospect, especially one that seems to be a potential buyer.
Don’t be scared you’d be messaging them too much, the truth is most clients love follow up, let me tell you a quick story.
I went to visit a School for Symply Up to develop a school management system for her, but before then a competitor had offered to do the same, infact this competitor offered not to take any advance payment until he was done with the whole setup, the school owner told me about this and said the reason why he is giving this project to Symply Up and not the competitor is because the competitor didn’t follow up well like we did.
98% of your sale is in the follow up, do you have a sale you are yet to close, send a message, make a call, again, NOW!
